Running a safe, efficient, responsible business is the foundation of our approach. Safeguarding and respecting people – our employees, contractors, and neighbours – is fundamental to how we do business. This includes having best industry practice standards.

Our intention is to provide a clear expectation for our standards of business ethics and conduct which we expect from our people and all those who work with us. This Code not only applies to Employees and officers of EnergyPathways, it also applies to all other parties who work on the Company’s behalf, including contractors, suppliers and partners.

The requirements of the Code are implemented in all EnergyPathways operated joint ventures, requiring all joint venture partners, international and local suppliers,

agents and other third parties to act in a manner consistent with the values and principles set out in the Code.

In joint ventures where EnergyPathways is not the operator, best efforts will be taken to ensure equivalence and alignment with these standards.

Natural gas is a critical component in the UK’s path to net zero emissions.  Domestic natural gas has a considerably smaller carbon footprint than imported LNG, which is increasingly making up the majority of the gas consumed in UK.  As that trend continues, it is vital that UK delivers the development of domestic gas projects that on average have 50% lower carbon footprint than imported alternatives.

Our focus on UK’s East Irish Sea is also guided by the unique geological characteristics in the region that lend themselves to repurposing for gas storage for CCS and hydrogen – both key components of UK’s net zero strategies.
