Neso Announce a new "shovel-ready" project pipeline prioritising deliverable clean energy projects for grid connection.

At EnergyPathways plc, we welcome yesterday’s National Energy System Operator (NESO) announcement unveiling a new "shovel-ready" project pipeline prioritising deliverable clean energy projects for grid connection. By removing this backlog, £40billion per year in clean-energy investment will be unlocked.

Why this matters:

▪️Faster grid connections = rapid deployment of clean power sources.

▪️It supports the UK's Clean Energy 2030 Mission.

▪️And it enables renewables and energy storage developers to progress their projects efficiently and sends a clear signal to investors and stakeholders.

EnergyPathways plc is seeking to develop the MESH energy project in the Irish Sea and at Barrow-in-Furness. MESH will integrate large-scale long-duration energy storage with flexible low-carbon power generation, and hydrogen, graphite and ammonia production, helping to utilise curtailed offshore wind and strengthen the UK’s future energy system.
